Dr. Andrew J. Coniglio was born and raised in Rochester, NY and returns home. He earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan graduating with honors and later transitioned to medicine thanks to his interest in vocal arts. He received his medical degree from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and was honored with induction into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship and residency as well as advanced fellowship training in head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular free flap reconstruction at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Coniglio specializes in cancers of the head and neck and reconstruction of surgical defects through microvascular free flap surgery. He also specializes in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, sinus and skull base surgery, laryngology and voice disorders. Dr. Coniglio has published in many leading journals and is a member of the American Head and Neck Society and American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
